ABOUT BREATHWORK

Hello!  I am Chelsea Hoffman, founder of Blue Flame Breathwork.

Welcome to my website!  Here are a few things that I would love for you to know.

What is Breathwork?

Breathwork is an exercise of continuous breathing, implemented through different styles of breath, to unlock emotions within the body so that they can be acknowledged, honored, and released.  The process of breathwork supports us in unlocking our highest potential and connecting us to our most loving selves.  Our bodies are intelligent beings with infinite wisdom, and breathwork helps us disconnect from the structures of our analytical mind and allows us to be reunited with our wise selves.

What are the Benefits of Breathwork?

The most common benefits are:

  • Immediate stress reduction & anxiety relief

  • Connect with your emotions & change your response to them

  • Revitalizes your organs

  • Gives you access to your higher power

  • Reduces toxins in your body & provides energetic release

  • More energy & mental clarity

  • Deepens your relationship to your body

  • Release trauma

  • Better access your intuition, higher self, and source energy

How do I facilitate Breathwork for you?

My mission is to help you reignite the source within you.  You hold an infinite wellspring of wisdom, love, and potential, and I want you to be able to access that at any point in time through the power of breathwork.  We all deserve to feel safe, loved, and whole, and I believe breathwork is a simple yet powerful tool to help you get there.  What I do as a facilitator is provide a safe space, where I empower you through conscious connection and pacing, attuning to your needs and intentions for each session.  It’s a collaboration between you and I, where I bring the tools of breathwork, trauma-awareness, and intuitive guidance and you bring your feelings and desires!  Yes, breathwork is meant to break down walls, but it is also a tool to build us up!  I implement the principles of a trauma-informed approach outlined by the Substance Abuse and Mental Health Services Administration.  These principles are:

  1. Safety

  2. Trustworthiness and Transparency

  3. Peer Support

  4. Collaboration and Mutuality

  5. Empowerment/Voice/Choice

  6. Cultural/Historical/Gender Issues

If you decide that Breathwork is for you, I would be honored for you to choose me as your breathwork facilitator, and I look forward to going on a journey with you!

Always with Care,

Chelsea
